31 Dec 2105 Recap: The Year of Excellence
As we reflect on the events of the year for Robare Custom Homes, we have much to be proud of and much to look forward to in the New Year. We started 2015 off with a challenge from owner Mike Robare to all Robare Custom Homes team members, “This year is about 1 word… Excellence. That includes excellence in self, excellence in family, excellence in your job AND how you handle client projects.”
The Year of Excellence started off with a bang, receiving the Best of Houzz Award for Client Satisfaction. Without happy clients no business can last, so there is no greater honor.
Robare Custom Homes was also featured in several Houzz articles, highlighting quality of work, unique designs, and even client’s décor.
Early in the year, Mike Robare and his family volunteered for the Hug It Forward project, building Bottle Schools for communities in Guatemala. It’s a very worthy cause wherein plastic bottles are filled with the paper trash that would otherwise have no proper disposal and use them as the insulation within the walls of schoolhouses.
In April, we prepare each year for homes that are judged for annual awards. This year there were several of Robare Custom Homes luxury designs and outstanding craftsmanship being judged.
May marked the Grand Opening of our model log home by our log division Country Elegance Log Homes. This was an especially triumphant accomplishment for Mike Robare, as he has a long time love of log home building and the model is a true exhibition of the finest quality log home available on the market.
New construction throughout the year has been a continual blessing. We have several high end luxury projects that are set for completion in 2016.
In July, we moved to a new office on San Pedro Avenue and celebrated our Year of Excellence, receiving five awards from the Greater San Antonio Builders Association: Best Product Design $750,001 – $1,000,000; Best Rural Product $299,001 – $399,000; Best Rural Product $399,001 – $499,000; Best Rural Product $499,001 – $625,000; and Best Interior Merchandising. This marked the 12th year in a row as Best Rural Builder.
The last quarter of the year brought with it a showcase of spectacular custom details from our amazing client projects that included: a $600,000 lazy river pool, luxury décor and a custom detailed garage. The beauty of being a custom home builder is the opportunity to accommodate whatever a client can envision their home to be.
We closed out the year with completion of luxury homes in Terramont and Canyons at Scenic Loop… just in time for the holidays.
